Yesterday was mothers day. We had such a nice day. Although the weather was cold and windy, we enjoyed each others company and had fun. Ava had picked out a geranium plant for me and Jose spoiled me with lots of other treats as well. My most favorite present was a card that Ava gave me and on the front it reads: Happy Mothers Day Mommy. She has been learning to write at school. She usually just copies the letters if you write them for her and now she is getting so good at remembering what they look like on her own. It is so beautiful to see her little writing.
Her school also surprised the mothers with little strawberry plants. Her school is so incredible. She took such care in decorating the plant sign and the pot that the plant is in to give to me.
