busy day

Today was a bustling day for photos, Tabor, and family.  The weather was amazing and it made the day all the more enjoyable.  This morning I got up late (7am for those non-parents out there) and got dressed right away.  Ava and I headed to the dining hall for brunch...it is so nice that the dining hall is open again.  Manny was taking a nap and when he woke up, Jose took him to meet us for breakfast.  It was nice catching up with people we havent seen much this summer and it feels good to have a schedule starting to take shape.  After breakfast I had to start taking photos of pre-season sports.

After greeting some pre-season athletes and international students that arrived in the dorm, I took the kids to the zoo with our good friend and her son.  The kids were great and really enjoyed seeing the animals.  It was Manny's first time at the zoo...he liked the horses a lot and smiled and tried to reach for them.

We came home, rested on the couch and then it was off for a family photo shoot.  The shoot went well and the location was beautiful.  Tonight we will be starting to do check in for the dorm and the multitasking is in full force.  It is easier to be doing all this and not pregnant this year as opposed to last year.  My energy is better and i am looking forward to a great year with the dorm.
